Trail description

This long route leaves Wu Kau Tang near Bride's Pool Road and follows the ridge over Ma Tau Fung and Tai Tung above Plover Cove Reservoir, then crosses the subsidiary dam and the 2 km main dam to Tai Mei Tuk. It covers 15.4 km with about 661 m of ascent and no supply points. Completed in 1968, the reservoir was the first in the world built in the sea.
