Trail description
Short stroll round the centre of Goascorán in Valle, southern Honduras, from the central park past the church of San Jerónimo. The town stands on the Goascorán River, which forms the border with El Salvador, and the busy El Amatillo border crossing is about 6 km away. It was founded in 1686 on land first settled by the Lenca, and its people live mostly from farming and cattle.
