Cascada El Bejuco (Pico Bonito)

Trail description

A 2.5 km hike from the Yaruca road, in the Cangrejal River valley, through the trails of Pico Bonito National Park, passing a small waterfall and a viewpoint overlooking the sea, to the El Bejuco waterfall near La Ceiba. Established in 1987, the park protects 564 km² of the Nombre de Dios mountain range around Pico Bonito, which stands at 2,435 m. The hike traverses one of Honduras' most biodiverse ecosystems, and the entrance fee for the protected area is paid at the visitor center.
