Trail description
From the hamlet of Bassin Bleu above Jacmel, a lane and then a forest path lead down to Bassin Cheval and Bassin Palmiste, the upper pools of the Bassin Bleu chain of cobalt-blue pools and waterfalls. The main pool, Bassin Clair, lies below a rock step that is climbed down on a fixed rope and is not part of this route. About 2.6 km there and back.
