Trail description
An easy coastal loop at Bouillante through dry forest, wooded savanna, brown cliffs and pebble beaches, with views over the Caribbean Sea and a stop at the Bain du Curé hot spring. It starts at the Falaise car park on the RN2, 2 km past Bouillante toward Pointe-Noire; the waymarking at the start is faulty, so keep right. Beware the toxic manchineel tree at Anse Machette, and do not start after 3 pm because night falls fast in the forest.
