Nez Cassé via Beau-Soleil

Trail description

From the Beausoleil picnic area on the Soufrière road, the path follows the Lepelletier canal through dense humid forest to the dam on the Rivière Noire, then climbs very steeply to the Nez Cassé summit at about 1,280 m. The trail is rated difficult: muddy in places and overgrown, and the Rivière Noire crossing calls for care. Higher up it rises above the vegetation, with wide views and many wild orchids.
