Trail description
A short, steep path from the Route de la Traversée near the Col des Mamelles climbs from rainforest into mountain forest to the top of the Mamelle de Petit-Bourg, where an observation deck was added in 2024. Gaps in the trees give views over the Petit and Grand Cul-de-Sac Marin and, on clear days, Marie-Galante and La Désirade. Park along the RD23 by the trail sign and watch for traffic, and carry your rubbish out.
