Trail description
The blue route is the longest of the three marked trails by the Ilulissat Icefjord, following the coast from Sermermiut past Nakkaavik and Holms Bakke, about 4.5 hours on hilly, possibly wet ground. You cannot rely on phone coverage or meeting other people, and fog can roll in within minutes, so tell someone your plans and do not walk or camp near the Icefjord shore. Since June 2025 a site fee is charged from June to October for the land between town and the Icefjord.
