Elati to Vytina (Menalon Trail)

Trail description

Section 4 of the Menalon Trail descends from the mountain village of Elati to the bed of the Milaon river and follows a well waymarked path along its banks, partly paved and partly plain trail. It passes the Pirgaki springs that supply Vytina with water and the stone built Makrinou fountain, then runs below the hill of Ellinika with the remains of an ancient acropolis. The stage ends in Vytina, a mountain resort among the fir forests of Mainalo, after about 8.5 km.
