Trail description
From the Belvedere Lookout car park above the Opunohu valley, where a trail map is posted, the Sentier 3 Cocotiers drops into the forested valley, crosses a stream and climbs to the Col des Trois Cocotiers on the ridge between Mount Mouaroa and Mount Tohiea. A lookout just past the pass looks back over the Opunohu valley and the island's jagged volcanic peaks.
