Trail description

Villingadalsfjall (841 m), the highest mountain in the Northern Isles, rises right above Viðareiði; the route climbs over grass and then rocky ground, marked first by blue plastic tubes and later by cairns. The summit is often in cloud, and local guides advise against going when it is. A landowner fee is charged per person at the trailhead gate, and continuing to Cape Enniberg requires booking a guide.
