Imet Gogo from Geech

Trail description

A 4.8 km walk from Geech camp across the Simien plateau to Imet Gogo, a 3,947 m viewpoint on the edge of the escarpment, whose sheer cliffs drop as much as 1,500 m. Simien Mountains National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1978, is home to gelada baboons, the Walia ibex, a wild goat found nowhere else, and the Ethiopian wolf.
