Viitna Nature Study Trail

Trail description

This loop in the Viitna landscape protection area starts on the north shore of Viitna Pikkjärv and visits all three lakes, following Ice Age eskers and kames with views over water and forest. Boardwalks cover the wetter spots and there is a viewing platform, but the steep esker slopes and the boardwalk by Lake Nabudi get slippery in rain. Parking is 1 km along the Kadrina road from the Tallinn to Narva highway.
