Trail description
A 3.3 km hike along a trail near Corinto, in Morazán, to the Cueva del Espíritu Santo, also known as the Gruta de Corinto. It is a rock shelter featuring rock paintings, whose Lenca name, Ti Ketau Antawinikil, means the cave of the human being. It was first occupied by Paleo-Indian peoples and later by the Lenca from the Middle Preclassic to the Postclassic period, and was declared a National Monument in 1972.
