Trail description
A 1.6 km walk along the road to cantón Los Naranjos, followed by a mountain trail to the summit of Cerro Los Naranjos (1,990 m) in the Apaneca-Ilamatepec mountain range, above Juayúa. At the end of the 19th century, when the town was prospering through coffee cultivation, this hill was the source of Juayúa's drinking water.
