El Saltadero (Cabrera)

Trail description

A 1.6 km hike along rural paths from the outskirts of Cabrera to the El Saltadero waterfall in María Trinidad Sánchez. Established in 2009, the El Saltadero Natural Monument protects 2.62 km² of humid forest on the Cabrera promontory. It is the most attractive freshwater swimming spot in the municipality, featuring a pool for bathing before the falls, where local youths leap from the heights.
