Ekkodalen og Rytterknægten

Trail description

A 3.4 km loop of about 90 m from the Ekkodalshus in Almindingen, the great forest in the middle of Bornholm, up to the Kongemindet tower on Rytterknægten (162 m), the highest point of the island. The way starts in the Ekkodalen, the long rift valley between granite walls where an echo answers back, and climbs through beech and spruce; a third of the loop follows forest roads.
