Trail description

The Medvědí stezka, the oldest nature trail in the Czech Republic, runs from the Ovesná halt through the granite boulder fields and forests of the Šumava past the stone marking the place where one of the last bears in the region was shot in 1856, to the Černý Kříž halt. Trains on the Černý Kříž line link both ends.
