A 3.9 km out-and-back of about 150 m from the entrance of the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve through mossy cloud forest to La Ventana, a viewpoint on the continental divide. On clear days it looks over both the Caribbean and the Pacific slopes; the reserve charges an entry fee and limits visitor numbers.
