Trail description
From Tauae Store on the Ara Metua above Avarua, the track follows Tauae Road and then a forest path marked with blue and red markers, yellow triangles and orange fabric to a metal post on the Maungatea bluff at about 240 m. The guide gives 3.2 km and 1 to 2 hours from the store; the track is often overgrown.
