Trail description

Salto de Candelas is a waterfall on the Cusiana River, located in the Corinto district of the Pajarito municipality, Boyacá. The trail starts from the Cusiana road and covers about three kilometers along marked ecotourism paths, crossing bridges and clear-water streams. The waterfall drops about 140 meters into a horseshoe-shaped amphitheater, surrounded by smaller trickles of water and protected Andean forest, which serves as a municipal forest reserve. The difficulty is medium-high, and sturdy hiking footwear is recommended.
