Salt Rock Nature Trail (Little Cayman)

Trail description

The Salt Rocks Nature Trail crosses the National Trust Woodland Reserve on Little Cayman along a historic right of way, the footpath from Blossom Village to Salt Rock Dock since the 1840s. The flat route passes old phosphate mining areas and a walled enclosure built in the late 1800s for the mules that pulled phosphate cars to the dock. Look for iguanas, landbirds, orchids and bromeliads, and bring water, mosquito repellent and sturdy shoes.
