Pedra de Lume Crater Walk

Trail description

A 2.9 km circular footpath around the salt pans of Pedra de Lume on Sal, which lie in the crater of an extinct volcano and have been worked since 1796. A tunnel to the salt ponds was built in 1804, and together with the mountain Cagarral the crater forms a protected landscape.
