Trail description

A three day walk in Cape Scott Provincial Park at the northern tip of Vancouver Island, through rainforest and over long stretches of boardwalk and mud to the white sand beach of Nels Bight, then on past Guise Bay to the Cape Scott Lighthouse. About 48 km out and back with some 820 m of climbing in total, usually with two nights camped at Nels Bight and the lighthouse visited on the middle day. The trailhead is reached by long gravel logging roads, and BC Parks charges a backcountry camping fee.
