Trail description
A long climb from the village of Ribaritsa up the forested valley past the Vezhen hut to Vezhen (2198 m), the highest summit of the western Central Balkan. The path gains about 1,600 m, the last part over open grassy slopes with views across the Balkan range. Most hikers break the climb at the Vezhen hut.
