Trail description

One of the most sought-after peaks in the Serra da Mantiqueira, on the border between Sao Paulo and Minas Gerais. The trail climbs through high-altitude grasslands and exposed ridges to the summit above 2,400 meters. It is a long, windy ascent, with camping common at the base to tackle the summit at dawn.
