Trail description
A 1.2 km climb on the Male Hill Trail to the top of Male Hill, at about 1,400 m the highest of the Tsodilo Hills and one of the highest points in Botswana, in Ngamiland about 40 km from Shakawe. The hills, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2001, hold over 4,500 rock paintings, some dated to 24,000 years ago, and the San hold them sacred as a resting place for the spirits of the dead.
