Trail description

The first stage of the Druk Path trek climbs from the road head above Paro through apple orchards, Damchena village and pine forest to Jele Dzong on a ridge at about 3,500 m. The dzong is partly ruined and has a lhakhang; on clear days Jomolhari is visible. The Druk Path is a guided trek.
