Trail description

From the road end at Dodena in the upper Thimphu valley the trail crosses the Thimphu Chhu on a traditional cantilever bridge and climbs through oak and rhododendron forest to Cheri Monastery, founded in 1620 by Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyal. The climb takes about 45 minutes to an hour.
