Antelope Trail Loop (Cockscomb Basin)

Trail description

A 4.1 km loop from the Cockscomb Basin Wildlife Sanctuary headquarters on the Antelope Trail, one of the sanctuary's longer routes, through dense jungle under the forest canopy with little climbing. It is rated moderate, sees fewer people than the waterfall trails and needs no guide. The sanctuary is run by the Belize Audubon Society, opens 8 am to 4:30 pm and charges non-nationals a day fee.
