Kemmelberg from Kemmel

Trail description

A 3.4 km loop of about 90 m from the village of Kemmel up the Kemmelberg (154 m), the highest hill of West Flanders, past the First World War command bunker. The wooded hill was fought over in 1918 and has a French war memorial and an ossuary on its slopes; a third of the loop follows quiet lanes.
