Trail description

Turner's Hall Wood in St Andrew is a 50-acre nature reserve on a curved ridge, the last remnant of the tropical forest that covered Barbados before 1627 and home to the island's greatest variety of plant species. This 1.6 km path starts on a plateau and climbs about 107 m toward views over the east coast, with a chance of monkeys and migrant birds. The woods are extensive and uninhabited, so local guides advise going with a guide rather than alone.
