Trail description

A two-day trek of about 31 km from Khinalug, one of the highest and oldest villages in the Caucasus, over the high pastures below Shahdag to Laza in the Qusar district. The route climbs to about 2,680 m on paths and shepherds' tracks with a stretch on a gravel road; most walkers camp on the high pastures halfway, and Laza is known for its waterfalls below the cliffs of Shahdag.
