Quebrada de las Señoritas Uquía

Trail description

Starts at the parking area about 1 km behind the village of Uquía in the Quebrada de Humahuaca and walks up a dry streambed between reddish sandstone walls into the narrow Quebrada de las Señoritas, at about 2900 m. The short version takes about 1.5 hours and the long one, with a viewpoint and a cave section, 3 to 4 hours, returning the same way. A local guide is mandatory and there is an entrance fee, both paid at the guide post by the parking area.
