Trail description
A 23.3 km crossing with about 770 m of climbing from Pampa Linda below Tronador up the Alerce valley to the Paso de las Nubes, between the glaciers of Tronador and the forest, and down the Frías valley to Puerto Frías on Lago Frías. It takes two days, with a night at the Agostino Rocca hut near the pass or the Río Frías camp. Walkers must register at the Pampa Linda ranger station, and the boat from Puerto Frías must be booked ahead.
