Cerro Uritorco Capilla del Monte

Trail description

Climbs from the entrance and café at the foot of the hill outside Capilla del Monte, across the Río Calabalumba, to the 1980 m summit of Cerro Uritorco, the highest point of the Sierras Chicas, passing rest stops such as the Posta del Silencio, Hondonada del Buey and Quebrada del Viento. Córdoba Turismo gives 12 km and about 7 hours for the ascent and descent, medium difficulty. An entry registration fee is paid at the start.
