WWII Heritage Trail Utulei

Trail description

Starting at the Blunts Point trailhead between Faga'alu and Utulei, this trail passes World War II gun installations that protected Pago Pago Harbor and continues through rainforest above Utulei. The last section has steep ladders with ropes and ends where a tramway once carried visitors to the summit of Mount 'Alava; from there you walk down the road back to Route 001.
