Massacre Bay Trail A'oloau

Trail description

From A'oloaufou on the ridge above Tutuila's north coast, the trail descends to A'asu village at Massacre Bay, site of the 1787 clash with men from the La Perouse expedition and an 1883 monument. The volcanic clay path can be muddy and slippery and takes about an hour each way.
