Trail description
A short circuit from Nivicë along the rim of the Nivica canyon, where the cliffs of the Shushica gorge drop some 250 m, to the ruins of Kalaja e Nivicës and a waterfall. The mapped loop is about 3 km; Camp Nivica's longer round tour of 6.9 km also takes in more waterfalls and an old shrine in an oak wood and takes around 4 hours. Late spring to early autumn is best, with swimming in the waterfall pool in summer. There is no public transport, so drive the mountain road from Tepelenë.
